Wine Garage is an exciting new player on the wine scene, started by Kim Wachtveitl (full disclosure, Wachtveitl also writes about wine for BK Magazine, but not about his own wines). To kick things off, the boutique wine retailer will host Booza Wooza, a day-long event at Quince (Sukhumvit Soi 45, 02-662-4478), on Jan 25, 11am-7pm, with 40-minute workshops (B500) for which you’ll need to sign up for in advance at facebook.com/boozawoozabangkok. Quince will also be hosting Chef Mario Hekke, from Majorca, for a week of Spanish food (Jan 17-25, lunch and dinner).
