Yes, there’s a bento box.

Bangkok waited a long time for its first Nobu—and the city was on tenterhooks since Robert De Niro’s first visit until it opened in September 2024. Since, Nobu has made its mark on the drinking and dining scene and is making its way into lunch.

Starting in late February, Nobu Bangkok, the world’s highest Nobu restaurant on the 57th and 58th floors of The Empire, unveiled a lunch menu. The Japanese-Peruvian gastronomy is open for lunch in the main dining area with a range of options, including a bento box.

The Lunch Prix Fixe allows diners to choose their starter, main, and dessert, whereas the Empire Bento Box takes its cues from the popular Japanese lunch with a collection of tuna sashimi, salmon nigiri, yellowtail jalapeno, and more.

Failing that, visitors also have the option of just going a la carte with options for king crab leg with yuzu butter, wagyu dumplings with spicy butter ponzu, and lobster salad with spicy lemon dressing.

The new lunch is available on office days for Mon-Fri from 11:30am-2pm on the 58th floor.

Headed by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and his Hollywood backers, the Nobu Bangkok was first announced in 2021 and took three long years to finally open, along with a slew of other restaurants and bars turning The Empire into a drinks and dining destination.
