Rossini’s
Rossini’s offers a way to kill two birds with one stone with a wine dinner that comes with a stay on May 30 only. The price of B10,000 (net price) gets you a deluxe room and a 5-course set dinner which includes dishes like scampi with sea urchin espuma and venison tenderloin served with celery root and pomegranate sauce. All will be paired with Italian wines from Negro Angelo E Figli. Hotel members can get it for B8,000.

Quince
Head to Quince for a wine dinner on Jun 4 (B1,950), in which the wines will come from winemaker Fabio Chiarelotto who owns 15 acres of Montepeloso Estate in Tuscany. Chef Blair Mathieson will prepare five courses including slow-cooked wagyu beef cheek with soft polenta and roasted roots and risoni with clams. A little note on their brunch, it’s now available on Sat and Sun (10:30am-3pm).

Lady Brett
Run by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, Negroni Week is a campaign joined by more than 1,000 bars, mainly in the US, to celebrate the much-loved cocktail. Here in Bangkok, Lady Brett is joining the party, with all proceeds going to the Camilian Home (www.camillianhomelatkrabang.org). All the more reason to drink from Jun 2-8.

Handmade Homemade Fair
Increase your blood sugar level at this latest market from May 31-Jun 1 (11am-8pm). You can expect homemade pastries and ice cream, including many dairy-free and gluten-free options, from places like Poptales, Pastry & Co. and Veganarie along with cooking workshops, cooking equipment and DIY accessories.

For the whole month of June, rooftop bar and restaurant Vertigo will launch a 4-course set menu at a friendlier price tag (B2,300). Dishes include wild trout salmon with pancetta and butternut pumpkin soup with pumpkin tortellini.

Rock Restaurant & Bar
