The famed artisanal brand from down under finally opens its doors here in Singapore.

Months after word got out that Becasse Bakery was coming to Singapore, the brand's first outlet finally opened on the fourth floor of ION Orchard.

Brought in by the folks behind another Aussie food brand, Jones the Grocer, the French-inspired dining concept is both a bakery and full-service restaurant.

On the menu you'll find a range of pastries and desserts, including the signature Gateau St Honore ($7), a puff pastry topped with cream and profiteroles dipped in caramelized sugar, as well as a wide array of quick bites, big meals and breakfast options—think crab & avocado sandwiches ($23), coq au vin ($25) and eggs royale ($21).

Drinks-wise, there are deluxe macaron milkshakes ($10) that come in flavors like dark chocolate and raspberry, in addition to the usual coffee (from $4) and tea ($5.50) options.
