With the recent revamp of Emporium department store comes a brand new look and taste from Greyhound's sister restaurant, Another Hound Cafe.
The brand new menu specializes in Italian dishes with spicy Asian twists, promising the best flavors from both cultures. And they've gone upmarket, too. Alongside casual soups and salads, you'll also now find a list of premium seafood to share offered in the menu's "XL" category.
Highlights include the Grilled Alaska King Crab Leg with butter and spicy Thai sauce (B2,900), the 900-1,000g Grilled Jumbo Canadian Lobster (B2,900), the Double Decker Soft Shell Crab Burger (B520) and the Thai Style Canadian Lobster Spaghetti (Half B1,290/Large B2090/Jumbo B2900).
More down-to-earth offerings include the Sweet Corn Soup with Crab Meat (B300), the Yum Wagyu Beef Steak Salad (B700), the Cube Salad with watermelon and traditional dried herbal fish mix (B220), and the Lobster Bisque (B350).
For mains, take your pick from the Thai Style Crab Meat Linguine (B450), the Chilled Zucchini Carpaccio (B220), the Crab Bomb with Rice (B450) or the premium size set of Fresh Oysters served with red wine vinegar or Thai spicy sauce (B750).
There’s plenty of new special cocktails to try out as well, such as the Tanqueray, elderflower and grape jelly Bubble Gelee (B320) and the Ketel One, Campari and fruit juice Fresh Kiss (B350). The restaurant also promises the best price in town for Moet and Chandon, at only B4,000 for the Brut Imperial and B890 for the Mini Moet & Chandon.
For the sweet toothed, follow up your meal with the new Caramelized Palm Sugar Custard (B280), a twist on the Thai pumpkin custard, or the Thai Pandan Custard and Black Sticky Rice Creme Brulee (B140).
Don’t worry, if you’re looking for the standard Another Hound favorites, they’re still there as well, including the Avocado Salad, Fried Sun-dried Lamb, Spaghetti Cha Cha Cha, Fusilli Phad Thai and, of course, the fan favorite Earl Grey Iced Lemon Tea.
