There are nearly as many cafe openings in this city as dispensaries at this point.

Here are 10 new openings that will keep you cafe hopping around the city. There are so many popping up around town that even we have a hard time keeping track. Can’t keep up? We’ve got you covered.

Third House Cafe

This cafe was started by a group of friends who flocked together to open their own shop. You’ll find this spot at the top of Phetkasem Soi 55, housed in a quaint, cozy space with corners to capture Instagram-worthy moments. They specialize in coffee beans sourced from Thai producers, offering a selection of 11 different beans from light to dark roasts. Their signature drink is the Espresso Con Panna: a whipped cream coffee using dark roast coffee shots, topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. Their in-house bakery also offers pastries like their soft coffee (B65), which is dark chocolate marshmallow flavored, or their tiramisu, where they change the ladyfingers to sponge cake.

3, Phet Kasem, 55, Bang Khae. 091-552-3314. Open daily 7am-5pm.

Cafe Smallhours

What started as an online cookie shop has finally upgraded to a brick-and-mortar store that feels like a little slice of South Korea. If it is your first time, try the crowd-favorite creme latte (B115), a cold latte topped with thick, soft whipped cream. Don’t forget to treat yourself to the fudge chocolate mousse (B160), or their freshly baked cookies (dark chocolate walnut, white choc cranberry, or brown butter, B85). The interior here is decorated with soft tones and white and orange exposed brick, which creates a contrast with the naked plasterwork, giving off an industrial vibe.

87, Soi Ladprao, 099-445-4493. Open daily 9am-6pm

Ayatana

This cafe doubles as an art gallery and a force for good. There is a sense of serenity when you step inside thanks to its open design, natural light, and intriguing hand sculptures and balloons. Food wise, don’t miss the khao lam affogato (B165), a unique blend of rice porridge and espresso—trust us, it’s worth a try. A less experimental option is the coconut passion fruit cake (B165), with a coconut cream exterior, layers of soft cake, and a hidden passion fruit caramel inside. What sets the cafe apart is its charitable mission. With each order, you receive a chip to place in a cupboard that directs a donation to various projects—we love this.

Charoen Krung Soi 13, 096-272-4616. Open Daily 9am-6pm.

The Neighborwood

For a tranquil and pet-friendly morning-to-night space, check out “The Neighbourwood.” The shop has both a lush garden area and homey indoor spaces. The Thai and Western comfort food menu covers everything from breakfast to dinner, making it a great all-day hangout. For breakfast, opt for the maple bacon fried egg waffles to satisfy your sweet cravings, and for all-day bites, try their Napoleon pizza menu.

Sansiri Backyard, 093-658-4735. Open daily 7am-9pm.

Pref Cafe and Bar

This little treasure has just opened in Sathon—a picturesque white house surrounded by green garden paths housing a French-Japanese all-day dining restaurant and bar. The menu boasts a variety of dishes, including a salmon dill and creme fraiche galette (B470), or if you feel more like pasta, try their udon cream carbonara (B350) with homemade bacon and parmesan cream or truffle ravioli (B380).

Sathorn Soi 11, 080-986-8383. Open daily 9am-10pm.

Sauvage

Each morning the vast baking counter at Sauvage serves a whole lot of buttery goodness. Start the day off right by grabbing a coffee and some seriously beautiful pastries. Expect fresh-out-of-the-oven vanilla millefeuille (B350) that’s delicately crisp and full of dense vanilla cream. You’ve met the croissant, now meet its richer (and better?) cousin, the kouign amann (B180), a muffin-sized miracle of crunch, fluff, salt, and sugar. Make sure to pre-book your favorite snacks here because they often sell out.

395 Chaeng Wattana, 10 Alley 3 Lane, 095-493-5083. Open Wed-Sun 11am-5pm

161 Cafeteria and Crypt

Here, it’s a cafeteria by day and cocktails by night thanks to a secret basement bar. 161 Cafeteria and Crypt is the grooviest new kid on Ekkamai, offering up a healthy, raw-ingredient menu with a selection of drinks, sandwiches, salads, coffees, and pastries. With its all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings, it's hard not to find something you love at this chill, secluded space—kind of like hanging out at a friend’s house. The venue has a variety of vintage mid-century furniture collected from various parts of Thailand, which really adds to the homey vibe.

6, Ekkamai Soi 10, 099-228-2161. Open daily 10am-12am

Pumpit

In the morning, it’s a coffee shop, but as the clock strikes 5pm, the space turns into a cocktail and beer bar—taps only. For coffee drinkers, try the plump “fat kid” latte. The bottom layer is fresh milk with caramel syrup, and the drink is topped with a coffee shake and whipped cream. There is also an espresso and nitro tap menu. As the sun sets, explore their cocktail taps, with favorites like mango sticky rice and Thai craft beer.

G/F, T-One Bangkok, Open daily 8am-12am

5am Cafe

In an old building in Bangkok’s old town lies this Chinoiserie-style cafe. The walls are adorned with an eclectic collection of Chinese and Western movie posters dating back to the 90s. The menu focuses on soy milk and green tea, but you can also find unique offerings like the soy milk boiled from coconut water (B115) which puts a tropical twist on traditional soy milk drinks. Be sure to dig into some desserts like the patongo with pandan custard (B65) and bua loy with black sesame (B65); both pair perfectly with a cup of soy milk.

Khwaeng Wang Burapha Phirom, Khet Phra Nakhon, 064-642-6615. Open Tues-Sun 10am-8:30pm.

Kev Croissant and Coffee

If you’re a croissant connoisseur, then you’re in for a treat. This specialty croissant and coffee shop recently opened in Bang Na. Try their signature pain suisse (B135), a croissant filled with vanilla cream and chocolate chunks, or their ‘croffles’ which, if you love croissants and waffles, then you’ll love these. Pair it with their medium to dark roast coffee.

32, Bang Na Tai, Bang Na, 081-569-1556. Open daily Mon-Fri 7am-6pm; Sat-Sun 8am-6pm
