Three Thai restaurants with competitive deals to help get you through self-isolation
At prices that won’t make your eyes water
This Thai-owned coffee house is one of the most convenient places to get a caffeine fix without compromising on the taste of what you are drinking—thanks to a wealth of locally grown beans from Northern Thailand and some international imports. The Thai-focused menu here is also good to curb your comfort food cravings. There are several deals right now, like a steal of a deal on chicken green curry fried rice—currently on promotional price of B79 from B128.

Aside from the excellent Thai mains, hard-to-find traditional desserts are the big draw here. During partial lockdown, delve into comfort dishes like pad Thai (Stir-Fried Thai Rice Noodles with Prawn, B175), khao soi gai (Northern Thai Style Curry Noodles Soup with Chicken, B165), and desserts like tub tim grob (Water Chestnuts in Coconut Milk, B74), Bua Loy Benjarong (Five Color Rice Balls with Young Coconut Meat and Sweet Poached Egg in Coconut Milk, B74). Set menus come with three options: the set for one person (B165) includes a main dish, a dessert, and a herbal drink; the set for two (B299) features two main dishes, two desserts, and two herbal drinks; and the set for three people (B399) features … well, we think you get the idea.
