Siam Center has always been one of the go-to places around Siam BTS for younger crowds looking to get their fashion fix. Now, a whole host of the city’s leading fashion design brands are launching their Fall/Winter 2020 collections, or are releasing special collaborations with other well-known Thai brands for one-off lines.
There are too many brands and items to cover in a single story, but a lot of the names on the list are ones you will recognize if you are into the fashion scene here. Expect some of the leading fashion design brands in Thailand to take part, like Tube Gallery, Q Design And Play, iCONiC, Senada, Leisure Projects, Rotsaniyom, Pattric Boyle, THEATER, along with PONY STONE and KanapotAunsorn from The Wonder Room.
One of the more interesting launches come from a collaboration between Tube Gallery and Belgian painter Christian Develter. The two have teamed up for the “Develter X Tube Gallery Resortwear 2020” collection, which draws inspiration from the artist’s work in the form of patterns fused with his signature style of portraiture.
Another interesting line is the new “Stronger than Yesterday” Fall/Winter 2020 collection from Thai-owned brand Q Design and Play. We’re not sure if the name is a nod to the horrible year that has been 2020, but the line focuses heavily on screen printing techniques to place logos and other encouraging messages on oversized shirts. The line also extends to include other garments, like masks and wrap skirts.
That’s only a small taste of what’s on offer, but if you want to see more of the new collections you can go to Siam Center, visit the OneSiam Chat & Shop on Line (@OneSiam) or shop at Siam Center’s virtual mall on Lazada.
