This ex-motorcycle taxi rider-turned-pro photographer’s exhibition is all about unleashing creativity
Unlock your inner artist with Thailand’s unlikely icon of street photography.
Despite restraining his artistic urges and creativity for a better part of two decades, Phichai “Eak” Kaewvichit is now one of Thailand’s best-known photographers, with over 80,000 followers on his Instagram account.
Eak stakes his reputation on capturing Bangkok in his own unique minimalistic way, and now he is putting that aesthetic on display at RCB for “Unlock.”
The exhibition features 30 photographs that detail four distinct chapters of his life en route to becoming the artist that he is today. Taking you through his journey of self-discovery, Eak also challenges you to unlock what’s holding back your artistic desires, just like he did himself.
Divided into four sections, the free-entry exhibition is on show from now until Feb 7, 2021.
RCB Photographer’s Gallery 2, 2/F River City Bangkok Shopping Centre, 23, Trok Rongnamkeang, Yotha Rd.
