Big name chefs to appear at 1st Thailand Gourmet Festival
Parc Paragon will be a haven for foodies as Thailand’s Department of Tourism hosts the 1st Thailand Gourmet Festival from Jan 23-25.
As part of the festivities, there'll be a market where you can shop for food from favorite casual spots like Khua Kling Pak Sod, celebrity chef restaurants such as Chumpol Jangprai's Siam Wisdom and Madam Nooror's Blue Elephant, as well as selected supermarket items like Campana pasta and Leggo's sauce.
Some events require prior registration, including the Iron Chef Thailand showcase at 1pm each day, and cooking demonstrations featuring Michelin-starred and other celebrity chefs, including Chef Tony Khoo (World Master Chef) on Friday, Chef Louise Tay (World Champion Chef), Chef Hendrik (one Michelin star) on Saturday, Chef Hiroshi Shimada (ex-chef at the 3-Michelin-starred Azabu Yukimura) and Chef Carmelo Greco (two Michelin Stars) on Sunday.
As part of the festival, various restaurants all over Thailand will also offer promotions from now-Feb 15.
