We were blown away by David Asavanond’s film debut as a scary drug dealer in GTH’s Count Down last year, a role which won him the Thai Best Actor gong at the 22nd Subhanahongsa Awards. Now, after cementing his reputation for dastardly roles by playing a sorcerer in the stage play Mondum Complex, David is returning to the silver screen in another horror-comedy, Pee Kao Pee Ook. The film follows a group of film students who are shooting a rom-com as their final project only for their plans to be scuppered by dead spirits. It’s set to hit cinemas from Nov 7.
