The first public photo gallery inside an MRT station opens to commemorate schools formerly located in the Bras Basah and Bugis area.

With National Day just around the corner, the National Heritage Board has launched the Old Schools Gallery, the first public photography exhibit within an MRT station, to honor the schools formerly located in the Bras Basah and Bugis area.

Although the exhibit predominantly features St. Joseph’s Institution, Raffles Institution and Convent of the Holy Infant Jesus (CHIJ), the Bras Basah MRT gallery honors the premium that Singapore has always put upon schooling.
