Majestic is doing a pop-up at The Cocoon, the outdoor walk-way connecting Gaysorn Village and Gaysorn Tower from Nov 25 until Jan 8, 2023, 5-10pm every day. It’s an alfresco vibe of a beer garden with next-level cocktails.

 

If you aren’t familiar with Majestic, the mastermind is Chennarong “Janz” Bhumichitr who was one of the founders of the late Backstage Bar, who has dipped his hands in Find The Locker Room and Mahaniyom to name but a few.

 

His project at The Cocoon goes by the name Mixmaster, where five Bangkok bartenders, including industry veteran Suchada “Fahbeer” Sopajaree who used to be head bartender at Find The Locker Room. Other names include Mind Natwara, winner of PIN31 by Pernod Ricard Thailand 2022; Toey Thiwarat, winner of La Maison Cointreau 2022; Mickey Wathanyu, formerly with Teens of Thailand; and Saipan Sornswan, formerly with Rabbit Hole.

Signature cocktails range from B300-340. For a floral and refreshing taste, go for the Gaysorn Fizz (B300), a mix of Thai spirits, sato (Thai rice wine) cordial, lotus stamen, tiger ear leaf tonic. Or get into the Christmas spirit with the Chilling Mulled Wine (B320) which mixes Cabernet Merlot, Falernum (nonalcoholic syrup from the Caribbean), orange juice, lime, clove, cinnamon, and star anise.
