Siam @ Siam’s new sky-high Thai restaurant, TAAN, welcomes Amnart Reansoi, the founder of Tan Khun Organic Farm in Nakhon Pathom, who will discuss his life’s experience as an organic chicken farmer. To mark the occasion, Taan executive chef Monthep Kamolsilp will craft a special chicken-centric nine-course menu (THB 2,500 per person).

On Oct 27, The Meatchop Butcher & Spirits presents the beef edition of its dining series highlighting a special meat. There'll be a four-course menu carefully crafted by executive chef Enzo De La Cruz to pair with hand-selected wines (B3,000/person). Expect dishes like wagyu rump 9+ with white asparagus, caramelized onion, chanterelle, celeriac foam and mushroom powder.

Khaosan Road’s biggest club is throwing a weekend bash to celebrate the Day of the Dead—the annual Mexican holiday with indigenous roots dating back as long as 2,500 years. The actual Day of the Dead celebrations take part on Nov 2 around the world, but this event lights up this Saturday and runs from Oct. 27-31. It’s a part pre-Halloween, part pre-Day of the Dead party if you think about it. The DJ roster includes Monito, Dear Re Rox and Mizz G, and there will also be a “Wheel of Death”, live performances, photobooth games, giveaways and all-night promotions. If you show up a little early in the night you can catch the DOTD-themed parade bouncing around Khaosan from 9:30-11:30pm.

W Bangkok’s The Dining Room at the House on Sathorn has secured chef Dani Garcia of Marbella, Spain’s two-Michelin-star Dani Garcia Restorante. Garcia won’t be cooking alone. Instead, the B9,900 12-course menu (Nov 2-3) will be made in collaboration with The Dining Room’s Fatih Tutak.

Siam Paragon is teaming up with Gastronauts Asia for a series of kitchen takeover events featuring highly regarded chefs from abroad. For the first event, the Christian and Manuel Costardi, owners of the Michelin-starred Hotel Cinzia in Vercelli, Italy, and founders of the Ambassadors of Taste organization, will take over Amici for lunch and dinner on Nov 16-17 (B3,000 or B3,500, add B1,200 for wine pairing).
