Sing the royal anthem together

This Saturday (Oct 22) from 1-5pm, the south side of Sanam Luang will host a mass singing performance led by the Siam Philharmonic Orchestra and a 100-member choir conducted by Somtow Sucharitkul. The performance will be recorded for a movie that will play at all cinemas and television channels accross the country. Members of the public are invited to join in on the singing, but it has been asked that participants wear formal black attire. 

Catch these late-night film screenings 

From today through Nov 8, more than 100 films about the life and works of HM the King will be screened in a festival organized by Film Cafe and dubbed "Kid Tueng Por, Kor Chai Nung" (Miss You Dad, Here's Some Movies). The movies will screen entirely for free from 6pm-midnight every night at The Walk Night Market on Kaset-Nawamin Rd. Screenings will be in Thai with English subtitles. 

Check out an art mural dedicated to the king

The art students of Silapakorn University have transformed a wall of their university into a mural of nine paintings of the late king. The paintings are recreations of famous photographs of the king and capture his artistic passions, including photography, music and sports. The mural will be up for public viewing for a year.

Volunteer 

Trash Heroes are picking up trash in the Wat Pra Kaew area every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the whole mourning period. The meeting point is at the Royal Pavilion Mahajetsadabadin in front of Metal Castle, Rachanatda Temple, at 7pm.

Volunteers for Dad, operated by Thammasat University and City Hall, are providing first aid, delivering food and picking up trash. Those who want to volunteer can register with their ID at Thammasat University's Sri Burapha Hall (Tha Phra Chan campus).
