Just opened yesterday at Hof Art Residency is this exhibition organized by Greenpeace Thailand, which features the work of Lao artist Aligna, who transforms plastic waste into interesting new creations. You can also make your own art every day from 4-7pm with the artist at the Plastic Flower Workshop. More information at 02-178-0095.

Nick McGrath’s first solo exhibition opens this Thursday at Rooftop Gallery (7pm) and features black and white photographs of the streets of Istanbul, curated by Oya Aydin.

Indy Pop Concerts brings the American indie metalcore band to Bangkok this Thursday for a gig at The Rock Pub. Only 300 tickets, available at Gram (4/F, Siam Paragon) and Hof (2/F, The Mall Bangkapi).

This is the last day to catch the bi-annual fair, which returns with around 1,600 booths from domestic and overseas companies offering household products, decorative items, handicrafts and other lifestyle products.

The monthly conceptual art/music is back at Ku De Ta with a makeup art exhibition "Faces of History," an art/dance performance, a live drawing session by Narodom Kamenketwit, plus a DJ line-up of Alex Imix, Masa Niwayama and Kimball Collins. Experience two weeks of art, music and performances at Jam, starting this Saturday. Live performances run every Saturday from 7pm-midnight. This week features Gad, Minus88, Gym and Swim, Fwends, Safeplanet and Obama's Swimming. Tickets are B200. The art exhibition is free from Sunday-Friday.

Expect food, drinks, and live performances by indie bands like Helmetheads, The Ginkz, Error 99 and many more, with lucky draw games for a free course at the school up for grabs at the rock music school. Entry is B100.
