From collaborative brews to new outlets, Singapore-made craft beer is more exciting than ever.

Singapore Craft Beer Week might be over for another year, but the appreciation of craft beer continues unabated. Here’s what some of Singapore’s microbreweries are getting up to.

Archipelago is launching their first collaborative brew

Undoubtedly the biggest fish in the pond, Archipelago Brewery has had an interesting 2016, releasing quirky small batch beers and selling bottled beers for the first time in ages. Up next, they’ll be launching their first ever collaborative brew on Sep 19, created in partnership with popular American brewery Anderson Valley. The pale ale is brewed with local passion fruit and Californian red grapes. Only a hundred kegs will be available, so get in quick.

Little Island has a funky new outlet at South Beach

Touted as Asia’s first and only infusion beer lab, Alchemist Beer Lab is a new venture at South Beach by the team behind Changi Village outfit Little Island Brewing Co. At Alchemist, beer lovers will get to drink their way through 16 beer infusion towers, with eight featuring familiar local beers like Little Island’s Sister Golden Ale, Singapore Pale Ale and That Old Black Magic (the one that struck gold at this year's Asian Beer Medals).

Brewerkz and Crossroads are available at more places

It wasn’t too long ago that local microbrews were only available at the brewpubs that made them, but we’ve seen them becoming more widely available in recent months. Brewerkz beers are now available at establishments like Decker Barbecue in Robertson Quay, Portico’s outlets in Dempsey Hill and Alexandra, and Für Kicks, a waterfront sky bar at The Punggol Settlement. Meanwhile, new kids on the block Crossroads have had their beers pouring at Burger Joint, Freehouse, JiBiru, TAP and more.
