No bars to visit? No problem, thanks to Mikkeller Bangkok.

 

On Saturday, Apr 11, Mikkeller “Couch Editions” brings the tap takeover to you. Pre-order a one-liter growler of fresh Modern Times beer—or a refill of your two-liter growler, if you have one—from Mikkeller’s online store, and they’ll deliver it to you on Apr 11 between 11am-3pm. At 5pm, they’ll open the online bar. In other words, you won’t be drinking alone.

 

The tap list includes some of Modern Times’s juicy IPAs like Orderville (B700/one liter; B1,250/two liter refill) and Themisto (B800/one liter; B1,400/two liter refill), as well as its much-loved Blazing World IPA (B700/one liter; B1,250/two liter refill). If you pre-order now, you’ll get a discount, too. Pre-order two growlers for a five percent discount or five growlers for 10 percent off your total.

 

Expect more virtual tap takeovers in the near future. Next week, for example, Mikkeller plans to team up with fellow craft beer powerhouse Beervana to throw a virtual event featuring beer from California’s Wild Barrel Brewing.
