Are you constantly whipping up new recipes or handmade gifts? On Sep 13, you can share your creations at Barz: Bangkok Bartender Bazaar, a non-profit event that aims to help Bangkok bartenders get through these unforeseen tough times.

Hosted at Philtration Bar in Ratchathewi, the flea market invites members of the hospitality industry and the public to share, sell, barter and purchase homemade goods, such as jams, face masks, paintings, or anything original you’ve created and want to share. If you're having a clear-out, you can also bring your unwanted vintage clothing, valuables and homeware along. Note that you cannot bring alcoholic beverages to sell, and only pre-packaged food and drinks will be allowed (meaning no live cooking).

You can choose to share your goods for free, exchange goods with other vendors, keep the proceeds for yourself, or share your profits to help folks in the hospitality industry who have suffered the wrath of the pandemic—be it from salary cuts or job losses. All proceeds raised will be matched by Tito's Vodka, while 50 percents of proceeds from the bar will be donated to the chairty pool.

The cash-only event will be held from 5-9pm, after which the bar will be open until late. If you’re interested in participating as a vendor, you can fill out this form, or if you’re in need of help from the charity, you can fill out this form, too. For more information and updates, visit the event’s official Facebook page. Don't forget to bring a reusable shopping bag!
