To coincide with the ongoing ceramic exhibition Unsweetened Love (se HERE), Pratya Raktabutr will be leading a one-day workshop on Raku firing on Nov 14, 10am-3pm, at the Neilson Hays Library (95 Surawong Rd., 02-233-1731). Raku is a type of Japanese pottery used in the traditional tea ceremonies. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to create unique patterns and designs using a ceramic firing process which involves fire and smoke. The workshop costs B1,200 per person and is limited to just 10 participants. No prior artistic skills needed. Reserve your place at 02-333-1731.
