The Japan Foundation, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan and the Emporium Shopping Complex, have invited three Japanese craftsmen to come to Thailand to introduce the history of Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets often served as part of the tea ceremony) through lectures and demonstrations. Attendees will get a hands-on experience in making wagashi, from creating the vivid colored creations to learning the intricate design techniques. The workshops will take place at the Fashion hall, 1/F Emporium Shopping Complex (622 Sukhumvit 24, BTS Prom Phong) Feb 11-12, 2-3:30pm. Free admission with Japanese and Thai translation provided.
