In celebration of International Women's Day, Bangkok-based women's leadership development organization Wedu will be hosting a mentorship event on Mar 8 at the BACC, where participants will be paired up with a professional mentor, and engage in discussions on various challenges.

The theme this year is "A New Lens: the importance of co-reflection and self-awareness in leadership development and goal-setting." Previous keynote speakers include the Asia Pacific Director of UN Women, the President of Standard Chartered Thailand and Director of Ashoka.

International Women's Day celebrates the achievements of women's economic, political, and social achievements all over the world. This year's highlights the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, which set the agenda for realizing women's rights, signed 20 years ago by 189 governments.
