More details on the French indie-rock band Phoenix's debut concert in Bangkok have just been announced. The band will be taking on the stage at Moonstar Studio 8 (Ladphrao Soi 80) this Aug 17.

Tickets will be sold in three phases, with phase 1 and phase 2 tickets going on sale on May 30 and priced at B2,500 and B2,700, respectively. Phase 3 sales will start on Jun 3, with tickets going for B3,000. All tickets will be sold at www.haveyouheard.live—but do note that there is a limit of two ticket purchases per person.

Known for their sound that traverses synth-pop, alternative rock and new wave, Phoenix are best known for hits like "If I Ever Feel Better," "Lisztomania" and "Trying to be Cool."

Band members Thomas Mars, Deck d'Arcy, Christian Mazzalai and Laurent Brancowitz are currently setting off on a world tour to promote their latest album, Ti Amo, whose first single "J-Boy" was recently released on Youtube. The whole album is set to be released on Jun 9 with tracks sure to be performed on their tour, which also includes other Asian destinations like Bali, Jakarta, Manila, Osaka and Tokyo.

The event is part of local indie gig organizers Have You Heard?'s Singha Light Live Series, which has brought other sold-out concerts to us in the past including Honne and Cigarettes after Sex.

Until August rolls around, check out Phoenix's latest single.
