UNESCO has teamed up with Museum Siam to present an exhibition titled The Documentation of the Traditional Children’s Games in South-East Asia, from Aug 18-Sep 16. It is part of a project to encourage the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, namely children’s traditional games, as a way of maintaining cultural diversity. The exhibition will showcase 90 different children’s games belonging to ethnic groups from four ASEAN countries: Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand (computer games and traditional toys are provided at each country’s section).
