We know you'll be hungover, but these yoga sessions, film screenings and (more) parties will be worth getting out of bed.

Happy New Year! This year, there's lots to do, with film screenings, yoga sessions and even a tree-climbing course. Kickstart 2016 with a few of these.

Fri, Jan 1

PARTIES
It's New Year's Day! Do a "hair of the dog" and check out the morning-after party at Tanjong Beach Club, which promises beach balls, champagne and a lightstick overload and a set by DJ Shawn Livewire.

Later, there's also Reunion at Kyo, where Godwin P, EJ Missy, Haan, Zig Zach and more will play house and techno.

Zouk’s Lincey and Hong spin EDM and electro tracks at Soundsystem, so go if you're still in the mood to party.

CONCERT
The father of rock in Singapore (and Malaysia) Ramli Sarip and famous singer M Nasir are in town for a concert. Maybe he'll sing "Bas Nombor 13."

EXPLORING
The Tanjong Pagar Railway Station is open to the public. Check out the really old school stuff you can find at this national monument, take pictures and roam around the premises.

Sat, Jan 2

WELLNESS
It's the second anniversay of studio Yoga Inc, and there will be lucky draws, freebies and discounts on classes on that day.

Got a New Year's resolution? Steel your resolve at this yoga talk on happiness by Swami Nityamuktananda Saraswati at Oasis Holistic. There will be a meditation session after.

If this is more helpful, there's also another yoga clinic at the Hot Yoga Alliance.

DRINK
It's the first pub crawl of the year, so head down to The Fat Pigeon at UOB Plaza to check out four bars and one club, with free shots at every one.

EXPLORING
There's another Tiong Bahru heritage walk today, and you'll get to hear about stories about Tan Tock Seng and Tan Kim Cheng as you wander around the estate.

FILM
There are a few films to catch at The Projector, including Ex Machina, where a programmer goes to his boss' house and realizes he has to interact with an AI robot.

ART
Check out Chua Ek Kay's exhibition, After The Rain at the National Gallery. His work prominently features lotus ponds, rain and reflections, so you can zen out at this one. Wu Guanzhong's Beauty Beyond Form is still on, and his work combines both Eastern and Western painting techniques.

Head down to OTA Fine Arts to check out works by artists Zai Kuning and Ay Tjoe Christine—the former deals with social concerns while the latter tackles her conflicting emotions.

CONCERT
Bollywood Musician Shreya Ghosal is performing live today. Bollywood fans, you know what to do.
