There's certainly no shortage of concerts and music festivals in Singapore, but this new arts and music festival seems like it's going to be pretty packed with fantastic indie acts.

Neon Lights will be making its debut come Nov 28-29 at Fort Canning Park with two days of more popular indie acts and under-the-radar artists. The first wave of the lineup is already out and we can count Irish singer-songwriter Damien Rice, known for songs like "The Blowers Daughter" and '80s boogie band Chic with Nile Rodgers as a part of the roster. There's also Sydney chillout electronic duo Flight Facilities and super groovy French bossa nova band Nouvelle Vague taking to the six different stages, alongside rock bands like Ratatat and Mercury Rev.

For now, a total of 16 bands and electronica DJs have been confirmed and in addition to the ones mentioned, Ride, Kiasmos, Mr. Scruff, The Field, Shugo Tokumaru, Sun Kil Moon, Julia Holter, Songhoy Blues, Hanging Up The Moon and Bennett Bay are all slated to play at this festival.

It's also not just about music as they'll be setting up food booths and performance tents curated by Noor Effendy Ibrahim, the former artistic director of The Substation, and Teater Ekamatra. There will also be a live street art and culture pop-up by Recognize Studios and Sideshow, too.

Tickets go on sale Sep 8 on Sistic, with two-day weekend early bird passes going for $189.
