Here’s disappointing news for winter festival-lovers. The excellent Stone Free Music Festival run by indie tastemakers Panda Records, which was set to take place this Dec 19 on Koh Lan, has now been postponed indefinitely. Though the reason behind the re-scheduling hasn’t been stated, it could be for safety reasons considering the Koh Lan ferry boat accident that resulted in six deaths on Nov 3. Reading the festival’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/StoneFreeMusicFestival), there are suggestions it could return to its previous home in Ratchaburi. We’ll keep you posted.
