Singapore will be hosting the inaugural edition of futsal competition Adidas Extreme Power 5's in June.

The contest is expected to draw more than 100 teams across the region. Local eliminations will run June 9-10 at SAFRA Tampines and the finals are set for June 23.

Each registered team will consist of up to seven people, with five players and up to two reserves. The game is only open to non-professional players aged 18-40.

The winning team will claim a grand prize of S$7,000 in cash and an exclusive trip to Madrid where they’ll enjoy VIP seats at a Real Madrid football match and a private training session with one of Real Madrid’s trainers.

The competition launch also coincides with the release of new Adidas fragrance collection, Extreme Power Special Edition.
