Singapore's annual jazz fest is back in March
The line-up is out, and it includes some Grammy-winning peeps as well as lots of great Asian acts.
Singapore's biggest jazz music festival will feature more than 20 acts from, Singapore and abroad, on two stages for four days of jazz and jazz-inspired music.
The festival will run Mar 5-8 at the Marina Bay Sands Promenade with a gala concert on the first day followed by a three-day festival. The lineup is headlined by UK pop super star and Grammy nominee Jessie J. Other acts include veteran jazz musicians Ramsey Lewis, Chris Botti and Bobby McFerrin. On the local front, Jeremy Monteiro will play with Italian jazz organist Alberto Marsico. The Steve McQueens, too, will also be featuring on the Main Stage.
Prices start at $125 for a one-day pass. But fear not, there's also a stage at Marina Bay Link that will do five free acts every day from 11am to 5pm. Look out for Malaysian soul up-and-comer Dasha Logan and Indonesian blues rockers Gugun Blues Shelter with their Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan inspired sounds.
It’s a packed line-up, so clear your calendars for these four days if you want to take in the full Sing Jazz experience.
More international acts will be announced for the main stage in the coming months. For more information, click here.
