Halloween parties, film festivals and exhibitions to end the month with.
It is the last weekend of October and you know what that means. Halloween parties are in full swing, but if you're not much of a reveller, we have a couple of films and markets thrown in the list as well.

FESTIVAL
Usher in the eve of Deepavali at Little India Arcade. You can light up lamps and soak in the festivities and also do last minute shopping at their bazaar, replete with traditional snacks, decor items and henna booths. Oct 28

Erdinger's Oktoberfest is back for another cycle of limited edition brews and tasty bites. A highlight this year is the unique Erdinger Barcycle, which is basically a mobile bar counter that will roam around Suntec City and this would be your last chance to be on it. Oct 28

Discover the wonders of Argentina through Comilona, a three-night food and wine festival at Bochinche, where Argentinian chefs and sommeliers do special collabs. Through Oct 28

Peruvian chef Virgilio Martinez runs Central, aka the fourth-best restaurant on the planet, according the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and the Michelin-starred Lima. And you'll get to try his food here in Singapore, at the Shangri-La's Blu. For a sweet $448, you get a seven-course meal, including dishes like scallops with sea lettuce and coral and river fish with quinoa, each accompanied by a drink like the Capitan and fine South American wines. The SJ50 Film Festival celebrates 50 years of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Japan, and there are quite a number of short films from both Japan and Singapore to check out, ranging from dramas, documentaries to animations and experimental ones. Lime at ParkRoyal on Pickering is also jumping on the bandwagon with their Halloween-themed dinner feast. Eat your fears away through their eerie delicacies in the shape of creepy crawlies, goblins and ghosts. Residents of Tampines (and revellers), there is a silent disco party happening at the rooftop of Tampines 1. Three DJs will spin different genres of music simultaneously, giving you the option to switch as and when you like with their noise-cancelling headphones. Oct 28-29

A female-centric festival that promotes female filmmakers, Scream Queen Filmfest Tokyo is making its debut in Singapore at everyone's favorite indie theater, The Projector. Through Oct 30
FILM
The student-run Perspectives Film Festival, which returns for its ninth edition will be exploring the theme of Surrealism. They’ve put together a program of seven films which will be shown at the National Museum of Singapore and The Projector. Throughout Oct 30

FESTIVAL
Artistry is having their own queer art festival, ArTITstry and it will be showcasing a group of talented Singaporean women artists who will present their work, such as poet Steph Dogfoot, musical duo Amanda & Zsa and artist SKL0 (Sam Lo). Oct 29

Wobology is having their first album launch party, with their EP, The Study of Vibration which is a mixture of reggae, dub and electronic music. There will also be a yoga session, alongside lip smacking barbecue fare. Oct 29
FESTIVAL
Head down to Tanjong Pagar Railway Station this Deepavali and be transported back in time as the Singapore Land Authority (SLA) gives you a glimpse of what it was like during its heyday. There will also be a photography workshop, Artisan Market and Farmer's Market. Oct 29

W Singapore is throwing their very first night pool party and they're transforming the pool area into a terrifying den, so come dressed and be spooked by the cemetery maze and death valley. Keep yourself energized throughout the night with Halloween-inspired grub like charcoal bat wings and poison apples. Oct 29

The Stewords Riverboat at the Marina Coastal Drive turns into this eerie boat with a backstory about a tragedy that happened in the early 1800's. Dig into their ghoulish dinner buffet and be part of a mystery huntdown game and end the night with a party where DJ Madjester will helm the deck. Oct 29

This Halloween, Fort Canning Park will be transformed into a picnic-carnival-esque cemetery. This 12-hour festival will see a zombie maze, pop-up flea market, pop-up food stalls and a cosplay competition, as well as a line-up of DJs like Brendon P from Ce La Vi and Kenneth Francis from Kyo who'll be spinning throughout the event. Head down to Ann Siang Hill and Telok Ayer Green for a Pionneer Trail on the lives of Singapore's early immigrants or if you're looking to get some sort of exercise done over the weekend, you can cycle in the Civic District with other community cycling groups. Part of Singapore Biennale 2016, The Local People is collaborating with Singapore Art Museum to bring you an art market. There will be 100 vendors at the museum's courtyard and glass hall, where they will be selling art, food and more. Oct 30

Have yourself a ball of a time and get your hands on handmade fabric bags from Tinta Shoppe, tableware and homewares from Amy Handmade Ceramics and other works from 30 different professional makers, and a whole bunch of tech demos and workshops at the inaugural Makers' Festival, held at The Centrepoint. Head over to Kult Gallery, where more than 20 artists will turn the space into a record store reminiscent of the 1982 American coming-of-age film, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Remixed album art, deconstructed vinyl and installations inspired by David Bowie will add to the 80s vibe. Through Oct 31
