The Cuban Brothers will bring their songs, dances and their sense of humor to a special afternoon at one of Singapore's hottest new openings. Miguel Mantovani, Archerio Mantovani and Kengo San will take the stage with some funk and soulful music and some B-Boy moves, too. Expect colorful, almost psychedelic costumes and cheeky routines from 3pm onwards.
History nerds, get a group of friends (who are not directionally challenged) to take on The Dempsey Walking Trails with you. You can download a map here, and go for a Nature Heritage Trail to find out where the nutmeg plantations and World War II barracks were; or the Epicurean Trail, which will take you to the hip joint The Disgruntled chef; or the City Dweller's Trail, which will take you to The Wagington Pet Hotel and Anjalichocolat.

Alpha Gymnastics is one of them. Check out the premises this weekend and sign up for classes with an early bird discount. This hot new dining concept by the Spa Esprit Group kicks off at House at Dempsey, with guest chef Hann Paclu-Chang from Toronto whipping up East-West plates inspired by Singapore. Look out for breakfast and lunch items by the former chef de partie of one Michelin-starred restaurants like Kiin Kiin like prawn paste chicken on a rice flour waffle with sambal maple sauce; and braised jackfruit sliders in barbecue sauce with guacamole and pistachios. You have to hurry as he's moving to Open Door Policy in January.
