This is what a "co-living space" looks like.

This Mar 25, Central Embassy mall launches the huge revamp of its top floor, which has transformed the area next to its VIP cinema to become the trendy new "co-living space" dubbed Open House.

Designed by Japanese architectural firm Klein Dytham Architecture, the same team who designed the Youtube and Google headquarters in Tokyo, the area comes decked out in a snazzy vibe, cool ceiling patterns, 180-degree views of Bangkok through the windows and, much as the name suggests, plenty of open space just for hanging out.

Split into eight zones, Open Space covers dining to shopping. The Eating Deck zone, for example, is home to new branches of Bao and Buns, Broccoli Revolution, Movenpick ice cream, Muteki by Mugendai and more. Meanwhile, the nearby Eat by the Park dining zone makes space for more restuarants on the breezy balcony, ranging from Lady Nara to Peppina.

Over in the the Art & Design section, you'll find a high-ceilinged, library look-alike, Open House Bookshop by Hardcover, whose owner has curated some 20,000 rare art books under the concept "Celebration of Print Culture." There's also an Art Tower zone which exhibits artworks of local and international artists, and will host seminars, workshops and other art-related activities in the near future, plus an array of design shops selling ceramics, furniture, stationery and more.

Lastly, you'll also find a co-working area, which combines a meeting room, open bar and work space all in one area set up with Wi-Fi. Full pricing details to follow.
