The rescheduled indie music camping festival returns to its original home.
Originally set to take place in Saraburi
last weekend, the three-day indie music camping festival
was canceled at the last minute with organizers
stating they were "unable to convince the local authorities that Stone Free should go ahead."
Instead, the festival will return in the new year at the Saraburi quarry that hosted the first two editions (see below).
The fourth edition of the devoutly non-commercial festival was to play host to 56 bands across three days and two nights, with big names including Yellow Fang, Stylish Nonsense and Samurai Loud. There's no word yet on how many will return for the new dates.
Tickets will be available at the door for B1,500, while those seeking a refund have until Dec 16 to contact organizers.
In the meantime, they will hold a
special gig tomorrow night (Dec 15) at Moose Ekkamai for three Japanese bands who were initially scheduled to play at Stone Free on the weekend: Sawagi, How to Count to Ten and Denims. B300 entry.
