The jazz-musician-turned director appears at the bar to present the video art project following his performance at Zoo (Jan 16)

Jam hosts experimental US jazz percussionist Gerry Hemingway this Sunday (Jan 18) for a special screening of his video-art film Kernelings. The non-narrative work aims to visually interpret Hemingway’s thought processes, using mesmerizing electro-acoustic music and psychedelic visuals to illustrate the relationship between sound and sight. Hemingway will personally introduce the film before taking part in a post-screening Q&A with the audience. Screening begins at 7:30pm on Jan 18. Free entry. Also don’t miss Hemingway’s live performance at Zoo on Jan 16. Tickets cost B200 (B100 for students). Full details at http://tinyurl.com/m3nvopg.
