I-S Weekend: What's on this Oct 16-19
From the first WTA Finals in Singapore to live gigs and musicals, there's much to look forward to this weekend.
Heineken Green Room: The Transporter
This year's edition of Heineken Green Room is a sci-fi themed party at Infinite Studios featuring prominent DJs like Washington duo Benoit and Sergio, Berlin-based Thomas Schumacher and rising local talent Intriguant.
The bi-annual vintage Champagne brunch is back with an international "roaring twenties" theme. There will be a dedicated caviar bar and a fresh seafood station, as well as fondues, Moroccan tagines and Japanese delicacies.
One of Singapore's most established pop-rock bands, Electrico, is back at The Substation, and all for a good cause as well. Proceeds from the band's gig will go towards helping The Substation raise funds for repair work, with pay-as-you-wish entrance fees and bar sales.
DUO: Judith Murray and Robert Yasuda
This exhibition features the works of the long established painter couple, with their pieces displayed side by side for the first time in 50 years. Yasuda's work is famed for his exploration of light, while Murray's signature style involves a limited palette of four colors.
