Think brunch, late-night concerts and quinoa goreng.

Golden Mile's indie cinema The Projector is kicking off 2017 with lots of exciting developments. First, we learned that they are partnering up with Clockworks to turn their cafe tables into an informal and affordable co-working space during the day. Now, a little birdie told us (and The Projector has confirmed) that their concession stand, The Golden Bar, famous for its salted egg fries and infamous for its $4.50 fancy bottled water, will soon be under new management.

And it's none other than Gillman Barracks' brunchspot Red Baron. While they're keeping their brunch operations at Gillman, starting Feb 7, they will slowly start phasing in stuff like panini, sandwiches and their signature quinoa goreng. They will also serve ice creams from Momolato, including a salted caramel popcorn flavored one. We're promised that more signature dishes will appear on the menu in the weeks to come, and starting in April, we're probably looking at a small brunch service.

Also exciting: Fridays and Saturdays will be music nights. Once the last movie screening ends (around 10:30pm), expect live music, though the line-up is forthcoming.

Oh, and don't worry, parking lot bar The Great Escape (aka our favorite Tinder date spot) will stay as it is, under current management, even though it took us a while to get used to the new vintage van bar.
