It's free. And organized by the company Forbes called “Instagram’s Chic Cousin.”

Attention, Bangkok phone photographers looking for life beyond Instagram. This Jun 6, you can join gatherings of photographers from across 60 cities around the world to explore your city's coolest hood through the lens of your camera, be it digital, analog or smartphone.

The Bangkok edition of Global EyeEm Adventure (bit.ly/1dsAn6m) centers on the niche street art and graffiti of Phra Khanong with a two-hour photowalk that kicks off at the BTS at 3pm, moves up Rama 4 Road and heads back towards W-District.

The walk is free, and will be led by EyeEm Awards 2014 finalist Brett Worth. You can also join the rest of the photography enthusiasts at Zeppelin Sky Bar (46/F, Le Luk Condominium, Sukhumvit Rd., 02-116-4452) after the tour.

For those unfamiliar with EyeEm, it’s a Berlin-based free photo-sharing phone application that allows you to take photos, edit and share them to the world via social media platforms.

Named by Forbes as “Instagram’s Chic Cousin,” it’s also got a growing global community of its own, where you can learn from other pros, and buy and sell your work through its marketplace.
