After bring out the likes of Black Lips and Summer Camp last year, hot young party collective Supersweet Live have us salivating at the thought of their series of "mini" concerts lined up for 2013, which they promise will be “as intimate as live music can be.” The first of these sees Taiwanese-born Canadian musician Alex Zhang Hungtai, better known as the one-man-band Dirty Beaches, play at SOL Space on Feb 24. Now operating as a three-piece, the band will bring their brand of lo-fi rockabilly with cinematic flourishes to the gallery-cum-performance space. In more good news for gig-goers, Lullaby Entertainment have announced their first concert of the year, with American singer/songwriter Rachael Yamagata performing at The Thailand Cultural Centre on Feb 28. Tickets are available now for B1,500-2,000 from Thaiticketmajor. Two months later, the same organizers will welcome veteran Japanese post-rock outfit Mono on Apr 3 (venue TBC).
