The Orpheus Choir is recruiting additional singers for the chorus of Carmen, the first production of Opera Siam/Bangkok Opera's Tenth Season set for Dec 16. Auditions are open to adults and well as children. Adult singers are required to have a good stage presence, good voice with good pitch ability and sight-reading. Kids should have unbroken voices. Directed by Darren Royston and conducted by Somtow Sucharitkul, the show will feature Mexican mezzo Grace Echauri as Carmen, Nancy Yuen as Micaela, and Stefan Sanchez as Micaëla.

To audition, swing by the rehearsals every Mon throughout Oct, between 7-9pm at Asvanant Dental Clinic (5/F, corner of Thonglor, next to BTS Thong Lo. For further details, send an email to [email protected].
