A local craft microbrewery is throwing an anniversary party, the Little Island Turns One, complete with music performances and a special party menu featuring their signature smoked meats. Six of their best-selling original craft beers will also be available on tap, from the Singapore Pale Ale, Irish Dry Stout, Red Ale, and more. Southern Californian gastropub Draft & Craft is also celebrating their anniversary in true Fourth of July fashion—so prep your bellies for festive ribs, homemade jello shots and craft beer specials. Winefamily

If you’re looking for the best of European wines, head on down to the "Old World Wine" mini fair hosted by online wine marketplace, Winefamily. You will get to taste a selection of over 30 wines from France, Italy, Spain, Germany and Portugal—most of which are new in Singapore. If you don’t have any weekend plans, spend your Sunday on the Hill with fun party food from kult kafé, Sidecar Sausages, and Coriander and Cilantr. Cool off with some sorbet treats from Popaganda as New Zealand’s Te Huhu performs a blend of atmospheric, blues, psych-folk-rock jams. International DJs Nez and Shellsuit will also be dishing out tunes behind the deck till late so you can look forward to some after-dark dancefloor action. This mash up of wine and local food returns for the third time this year at the Merchants Hawker Wine Safari. After gathering at their Joo Chiat Road outlet, you’ll be whisked away to a secret location where you’ll treat your tastebuds to six pairings of hawker food and boutique wines from Australia and New Zealand—all in an Anthony Bourdain-style adventure. Smoky tataki of bonito

Urban gastrobar Bistro 1855 is hosting the Barossa's Secret: Thorn-Clarke Wine Dinner, which features a six-course dinner paired with Australian wines from family-owned Thorn-Clarke Winery. Jul 7, 7.30pm-midnight, Bistro 1855, 3 Temasek Boulevard.

The Italian Association in Singapore is organizing a BBQ & Dance under the stars and it’s a potluck party, so make sure you bring some food and enough booze to pass around. Jul 16, 7pm-2am, East Coast Park, Pit 7/8C.

The Long table Winemaker Truffle Dinner hosted by winemakers from Myattsfield hooks you up with five courses featuring Perth Hills truffles, paired with seven wines from the area—Verdelho 2012, Shiraz, Mourvedre & Viognier 2014, and more.
