Even if you can't be there plugging your ears and seeing the cars whiz past, you can still catch the F1 race during a live screening at CHIJMES.

If you haven't bought F1 tickets this year, fret not. The next best thing to watching the Grand Prix in flesh and blood, is watching a live broadcast of the race on the big screen (although we argue this may actually be better than watching cars zoom past you in a blurry two seconds).

The newly-refurbished CHIJMES will be live screening the final race happening Sep 21. True to the theme, they'll also be showing the movie Fast & Furious 6 (well, what else?) the night before (Sep 20). Both events will happen at The Lawn and there will be a night market running that brings together independent craftsmen, designers and foodie booths (with lots of beer). Given the close proximity of CHIJMES to the race circuit, we're sure you can still hear the roar of the engines. Find out more here.

Oh, and did we mention that it's all free?

And if you do want the live experience, we've got the complete lowdown on the races, concerts, parties, staycations and everything else in our guide to the F1 season.
