Hailing from America's indie rock epicenter, Brooklyn, Vivian Girls comprise of three lovely ladies: Cassie Ramone, Katy Goodman and Fiona Campbell. The girls started out making their own CDs and became widely known among underground rock fans for their lo-fi garage sound.

We first got wind that they wanted to come do a show here in Bangkok through one of our Twitter followers who actually retweeted the band and asked us if we know anyone who could support them. We gave them some names and hoped for the best. As it turned out, the best has indeed been granted because the band are on their way to perform an intimate one-off gig with a local indie girl group, Yellow Fang, here on Jul 14, 9pm, at OPPOSITE (across from WTF, Sukhumvit Soi 51. BTS Thong Lo). And it's all completely free! Expect to hear their tunes from two previous albums Vivian Girls and Everything Goes Wrong as well as their third effort, Share the Joy.
