NIGHTLIFE: Tangmo Wanlika & Sunny Trio

Pop vocalist and runner up in The Voice Thailand season 2 joins the live band for a night of soul and jazz music mixed with original compositions and improvisation. There also promises to be plenty of drink promotions throughout the night.

ART: Tha Satit Nai Duang Jai

A special art exhibition showcasing the works of more than 30 contemporary Thai artists based around the life and legacy of HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej, totalling over 70 paintings and sculptures.

ART: Photo Festival

Artist Rapat Bunduwanich presents an unorthodox exhibition of eerie installations like empty neon-lit rooms, empty photo frames, empty canvases and blank sheets getting dripped on with water in a show that encourages the audience to actively question what they are witnessing.

ART: The Game | Viet Nam 

Twin Vietnamese artists, known as the Le Brothers, explore the cultural identity and social issues of post-war Vietnam through a series of mixed media works including a 24-channel video installation, a collection of photography works and an archive of posters, maps and books from the postwar period.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: Breakfast at Tiffany's 

Bangkok's latest independent cinema hosts a screening of the Blake Edwards' 1961 drama, based on Truman Capote's novel, about a young New York socialite working as an expensive escort (Audrey Hepburn) and her blossoming relationship with an aspiring writer who has moved into her apartment building.

NIGHTLIFE: Andy Hart 

The Melbourne-based electronic music DJ, who has launced several record labels, spins his best tracks with support from local talent DJ NK Chan. Entrance is B200 at the door.

NIGHTLIFE: Techno Night presented by Subconscious

DJs FunkPheno and Gimmie host a night dedicated to Berlin sounds including deep tech, techno and underground house.

MARKETS: Artbox Chatuchak

Arguably the city’s most popular pop-up market returns to a brand new venue, this time a little further from the city center. Expect some 100 trendy food stalls, over 150 stalls selling clothes at affordable prices, 20 stalls selling home decor and 50 stalls selling DIY and handmade products.

The Bangkok Sketchers group hosts a special sketch walk around the Sanam Luang area for an afternoon of remembrance for HM the King Bhumibol Adulyadej through a shared love of art. As always, the activity is free for all and flexible for participants to join and leave at their liking.

Saturday (Nov 5)

NIGHTLIFE: Bababobo with Marc Maya

The founder of Ibiza’s Elrow party series headlines this event taking over three floors of RCA’s live music venue. Support from Bangkok collectives Elektro Delikatessen, Blast.Bkk, Phatfunk and House Jam, who’ll spin  techno and electro house.

ART: Junked 

Artist François Langella's exhibition involves objects picked from old, abandoned buildings that have been restored and crafted into part of an installment that explores themes around creation, production and destruction.

WORKSHOPS: Make a Glaze

ART: Through the Eyes of an IDP

Kayla Richards presents an immersive photography project offering an intimate look into the lives of internationally displaced people living in Burma and the daily struggles they face as a result of civil conflict. The photos were taken by 30 children in Myanmar's IDP camps who were given a disposable camera each and asked to capture whatever they wanted.
