An informal artist talk by the 4 artists of the ongoing exhibition at Jam, titled Bangkok Unbalanced. Mister Bows, Diamond One, Farox and Bemused will be talking about their creative process, influence and other projects from street art to clothing. An opportunity to catch the exhibition before it ends this Saturday.

Wasabi Bytes say Greatest Bits Live

The Thai-Australian Duo launches their new album, a compilation of their best tracks over the past five years, at Glow this Thursday night from 8pm onwards. They will be supported by DJs Carl Nunn and Billy V. Free CD souvenirs for the first 100 at the door.

The Rainy Afternoon 

A short play by William Inge, known as the Playwright of the Midwest, about three children immitating their parents in a play house. Suitable for audience above 15, and highly recommended for parents. Directed by Pannatat Po-dhivejakul, the play opens this Friday at 7:30pm and will run through Jan 18. The Last? Decision

You can catch the annual play by Silpakorn University's Faculty of Architecture this weekend. The play follows the stories of a man who wakes up with no memory and a surgeon whose wife is terminally ill.

The TPO New Year's Concert 2015

Dek-Art @ BACC 2015: Wonderful Journey

In celebration of National Children's Day, the BACC hosts fun art activities, creative workshops and live performances all day, starting from 10:45am. Expect live performances by kids from Bangkok Symphony Music School, mime performances by Mute and Babymime, music performances by Music Library and Mahidol University's College of Music and a Khon performance by Kids. Siam: Through the lens of John Thomson

There are plenty of art openings to look forward to this year. One of our highlights is this one at the National Gallery, an exhibition of works by one of the first Western photographers to document Thailand. Fans of all things vintage have something to look forward to this week as the super-popular retro community brings back its hip Brooklyn-style flea market on Jan 10-11. Taking over the parking lot of the State Railway of Thailand, Hua Lamphong, from 3pm till midnight, the theme this time is “Children,” in celebration of National Children’s Day. Expect stalls selling old-school toys, classic action hero figures, rare vintage home décor items, and a great selection of food and drinks.
