MARKETS: Tribes Christmas Market 2016

The creative community that focuses on learning, sharing and co-creation hosts its first Christmas-themed market where you can shop for DIY items and maker tools from booths including Tassie Design, Mood:Mind:Body, Dhammada Garden, Everyday Letter and more. There will also be lots of craft workshops to create your own holiday gifts to take home.

ART: Platform 10

Thai-Indian street photographer Rammy Narula presents his collection of photos captured on a single platform at Hua Lamphong station over a period of six months during the same time of the day. The photos have also been published by New Yorks' publishing house Peanut Press, and will launched at the exhibition.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: 20,000 Days on Earth

This edition of the bar's cultural studies film series invites university lecturer and author Viriya Sawangchot as the host. He has selected the 2014 drama-documentary following a day int he life of musician, poet, artist, Nick Cave, offering his candid insights into the creative process. The screening will be followed by a casual discussion of the film.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: Global Migration Film Festival 

The International Organization for Migration, the UN Migration Agency, presents a film festival dedicated to films about the unique contributions that migrants have made to societies around the world. In celebration of International Migrants Day on Dec 18, the festival is part of the UN's "Together" campagin to promote diversity and inclusion. All screenings are free.

NIGHTLIFE: Dudesweet: Party of 1999

Phones and digital cameras are confiscated at the door of this authentic '90s alternative rock, grunge, rave, techno, hip-hop, r'n'b and d 'n' b party. Guests don't get their digital possessions back till the end of the night. Film cameras allowed.

GIGS: Chlandi Chandi  

The Thai psychedelic, stoner rock band whose songs combine vintage Indian instruments, rock elements and lyrics influenced by religion and ideology, perform live with support from DJ "J" (of Strange Brew) and live visuals by Yellaban. Limited to 70 tickets.

MARKETS: Union Camp Flea Market 

Over 50 brands gather for this new flea market selling retro furniture, classic cars, motorcycles and vintage clothing from within tents set up with urban, grungy vibes. On top of the shopping, expect plenty of food, drinks and live music throughout the three day event.

SPECIAL SCREENINGS: Inspirational Films from the Last Century

A three-day film festival dedicated to cult movies from the early ‘60s through to late '90s. The selected films have arguably made an impact on the fields of art, fashion, architecture or film itself, and include titles such as William Klein’s Who are you Polly Maggoo (1966), Paul Morrissey’s Flesh for Frankenstein (1973), Jim Sharman’s The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and more.
