Feel that cool breeze? Make the most of it this weekend with these markets, fairs, festivals and more.
If you can't wait to shop before the weekend arrives, this fair promoting French and European goods and services in Thailand kicks off on Thursday, featuring tastings of fresh pastries, imported wines, Champagne and cognac and cheese. There'll also be deals on French fashion and decorative items, and special accommodation packages. This year also sees a special pavillion, Ciao Italia, that features products from Italy and a pair of Bangkok-Paris round-trip tikets are up for grabs with every B2,000 purchase.

The Japanese artist shows off his new works from his stay in Thailand at this multi-day exhibition. Signed prints will be up for sale. Donations are encouraged to support the return of the artist to Fukushima, where he has actively taken part in art projects in the community, in the aftermath of the disasters of 2011. Opening party on Dec 11 at 7pm, with special musical artists on Dec 12, guest chefs on Dec 13 at 6pm, and the closing open house day on Dec 14.

The indie two-piece from Florida debuts in Bangkok this Thursday as part of their Large Baby Tour, with local support from Fathers Of Medicine and Local Machine.

If you haven't noticed already, Parc Paragon has been taken over by the House of Walker since Wednesday, and will be holding exclusive concerts every night from now through Jan 3, featuring local artists such as Musketeer, Palmy, Thaitanium, Scrubb, New-Jew, Tattoo Color, 25 Hours and Mild. The first fair of its kind in Thailand brings swing culture to town, starting at 4pm at the Hop, with a vintage sale, big-band music, talks, movies, intro dance lessons and swing-related workshops.

For something more central, head over to Chula on Dec 13 for Common Fest, the handmade crafts and secondhand sale by the university’s Communcication Design and Industrial Design students, with performances by The Krrrr, Jelly Rocket and Yellow Fang.
