Five films opened in Bangkok yesterday, from action fantasy Aaron Eckhart'sI, Frankenstein and Oscar-forerunner Dallas Buyers Club and the universally panned Bad Grandpa by MTV's Jackass. But the most exciting release today is probably the "sneak previews" of The Wolf of Wall Street

Onra Live Set @ Grease
French DJ Arnaud Bernard, aka Onra, once described his music as a pizza with spring rolls, which sounds strangely tasty to us. We’re big fans of the retro Vietnamese-tinged hip-hop vignettes of his Chinoiseries releases.  With support from DJs Mighty NP, Pichy and Boogie G.

Heems @ Cosmic Café
Known for his impish anti-racist manifesto and being half of provocative duo Das Racist, American rapper Himanshu Suri aka Heems, from Queens, first had a career in finance after finishing a degree in economics. That might just explain the seriousness beneath his fun, often funny tunes which can be heard at this gig by Popscene.
