Places to hit up for Oktoberfest 2014 in Singapore
Our round-up of Oktoberfest events includes drinking games, bratwurst and, of course, gallons of beer. God bless Germany!
This celebration at Marina Keppel Bay features beers from top German breweries. Expect microbrews from the likes of local Paulaner Brauhaus among commercial beers like Weihenstephan, Schneider Weisse and Weltenburger Kloster. Master guest chef Josef Nagler will also serve a Bavarian menu for the event.
Be sure to check out the German-themed food & Erdinger Beer kiosks, dishing out crispy pork knuckles, bratwust and mash and German gourmet sausages. And of course, party night away to live performances by local band In Control.
This Robertson Quay pub has got pork knuckles, wurst and mash, a live band and lots of Hofbrau beer from Munich. A ticket gets you a half-knuckle of wurst and mash, a pint of Hofbrau or Schlenkerla draft beer, a mug and a $10 voucher.
The Oktoberfest dining deal at the Fairmont Singapore includes a platter of gourmet sausages for $15 with any order of Erdinger Weissbier or Erdinger Dunkel Beer. There's also happy hour deals from 5:30pm to 8:30pm with beers starting at $10 per bottle and $48 for a bucket of five.
This German Bar and Restaurant brings the Brozeit Challenge 2014 to the Vivocity branch, where competitors will meet head to head for exciting beer-related games and compete for titles such as the "The Server", "The Guzzler “and "The Builder” (where players attempt to build the tallest Jagermeister tower).
For Oktoberfest, sQue will be dishing out two of its heartiest meat platters, featuring juicy delights such as rotisserie spring chicken, pork knuckles and pork ribs. The platters also come with beers from brands such as Benediktiner Weissbie and Bitburger Pilsner.
