Bangkok's Museum Siam is currently hosting the Kin Kong Nao (Food Preservation) exhibition which examines the historic and cultural reasons why Thai communities have sought to preserve their food through Nov 4. Once a month, the curator of the exhibition, along with special guests will be running free workshops on the traditional ways to pickle and preserve your own food, from pla ra to salted egg.
