The launch party of a new night out on the 2/F of Badmotel, turning it into an actual nightclub, kicks off on the first Friday of this month and will continue every Fri-Sat. The project is a collaboration between Superrzaaap!, Zoo Studio and Kor.Bor.Vor, which aims to create a new space for music, art, lifestyle and fashion. Entry is B100, with a lineup of Moola, Supersonic, Kingkong, Sunju Hargun and DJ Pichy.

There are about 400 of them, so be prepared: this stroll won’t be quick, nor cheap.
After a pretty quiet period for indie gigs, Jun 6, is the date for Hedsod 2, the second concert organized by hipper-than-thou online streaming site Fungjai, which brings together some of the hottest live acts around. Kicking off at 6pm at the Voice Space Hub of New Gens (197 BBD Building, Viphavadi Rangsit Rd.), the concert features the likes of Part Time Musicians, Yellow Fang, Summer Dress (plus two secret special guests), DCNXTR, Srirajah Rockers and Goose. Launching this Jun 9, 8pm, at Democrazy Studio (1034/29-30 Soi Saphankhu, Rama 4 Rd.) is an exciting new adaptation of Girl X that turns the award-winning play of 2013 into a contemporary dance performance. Co-directed by Japan’s Suguru Yamamoto and Thailand’s Thanapol Virulhakul, the performance stars Teerawat Mulvilai and Peerapol Kijreunpiromsak, and combines movement, text and images to reflect the current state of society. This Jun 11 gives you an excuse to start the weekend early at Ku De Ta's (98 Sathorn Square, Sathorn Rd.) This is House Party in collaboration with Elektro Delikatessen. The star of the evening will be Groove Electronic Music Magazine’s 2012 Newcomer of the Year DJ Wankelmut.
